Get ready for excitement - We are here to put on a show of athleticism! All Star Cheerleading squads put together a 2 1/2 minute action packed routine set to upbeat music. The routine consists of tumbling, stunts, motions, jumps, dance, and cheers. The perform for a panel of judges, competing against other squads of similar age and ability levels. These cheerleaders have their own fans!
The performance lasts 2 1/2 minutes, but the memories last a lifetime! There are several things that are more important than a coveted medal or trophy. Friendships made, lessons learned, and bonds formed will be the things that athletes and their families will look back on for the rest of their lives. Practice and performance of all star cheerleading builds strong character traits that are not common in other sports. Learning skills, teamwork, and dedication in a fun and encouraging environment guarantees that your experience as part of the Spirit Ahtletics All Star Cheerleading Family will be one that you will never forget!
There are several aspects of an all star cheerleading squad that make them successful - and we have them all! The head coach is a nationally recognized judge that travels the country and evaluates squads of all levels and backgrounds, and knows firsthand what it takes to make an amazing team with a fabulous routine. Teamwork and sportsmanship will be emphasized at every practice. Tumbling skills will be taught 'gymnast' style. Stunts and pyramids will be strong, safe, and visual. Choreography and music selection will be age appropriate and an integral part of the squad's regiman. Combine this with a positive environment for children to learn and outstanding customer service - We can't be beat!!!
We believe that every child should be given the opportunity to excel. Positive reinforcement is key to our coaching staff, and will be consistently applied throughout the competitive season. It is our philosophy that it does not matter if we come in first or last - As long as we are dedicated and working hard to the best of our ability and improving, we have already won without stepping a foot onto the performance floor. That being said, we are definitely a very competitive program. However, instead of focusing on 1st place, we will be focusing on building the qualities that make a 1st place squad.
That's ok! Rockstar Cleveland has a team for everyone, ages 3 - 18. We pride ourselves on our level of instruction. You will learn everything you need to know right in our gym!
